Pupils

There are around 850 girls in the school split approximately 180 in the Junior School, 490 in the Lower and Upper Senior School and 180 in the Sixth Form. Around 120 new girls join us each year mainly into the Junior School (Years 3 to 6), Year 7 and Sixth Form (Year 12). Girls come mainly from Bedford, Milton Keynes, Luton & Dunstable, Sandy and surounding villages of Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire.

Staff

The current full time teaching staff is comprised of 65 women and 11 men. There are a further 13 part-time teachers and over 20 peripatetic music and drama teachers. The School has an excellent team of IT, administrative, catering, domestic and works support staff. They all work hard to ensure that our organisation, services and provisions are second to none.

Fees

For Autumn Term 2009 the School fees are:-

£10,026 per annum / £3,342 per term for the Senior School

£7,179 per annum / £2,393 per term for the Junior School

Other charges are made, for example, for instrumental music lessons, speech and drama and some specialised sports activities or trips.
