School Reports

The talent and energy of successive generations of Dame Alice girls and staff have created a school community which is happy, lively, confident and challenging. Our school has an enviable reputation for academic excellence, for the enormous range of extra-curricular opportunities and for the impressive pastoral support which is offered.

'The Good Schools Guide' describes us as 'a large school in numbers but with a small school feel to it'. The friendly, welcoming atmosphere of the school is very important to us, and the welfare of each individual girl is at the heart of all we do, visit the website at www.goodschoolsguide.co.uk.

We were very pleased when the Independent Schools' Inspectorate team, which inspected the school in February 2004, identified 'the culture of kindness' which exists at Dame Alice.
