Dame Alice Youth Theatre

Each year the Youth Theatre aims to offer its members a range of drama activities so that girls who remain members for a number of years build up a breadth of experience.

Anyone who is interested in the work of the Youth Theatre is welcome to pay a visit on a Saturday morning between 10 a.m. and 12 noon, but please contact the school in advance.

Classes operate during the school term as follows:

Friday Juniors (Years 3 to 6) - Friday 4.00pm to 5.00pm (£50 per term)

Saturday Juniors (Years 3 to 6) - Saturday 10.00am to 11.00am (£50 per term)

Intermediate (Years 7, 8 and 9) - Saturdays 9.00am to 11.00am (£90 per term)

Seniors (Years 10 to 13) - Saturdays 11.00am to 1.00pm (£90 per term)

Private Speech & Drama Lessons

Speech and Drama is taught in small groups during lunchtimes, and to Junior School girls during their 'Activities' afternoon and on a rotational daily timetable. Each lesson lasts half an hour and the girls are taught in groups according to age.

The opportunity is offered for entry during the Summer Term to external examinations in Speech and Drama with the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. Girls may enter for the Bedfordshire Competitive Festival in the Spring Term.

Fees are £70 per term.
