Geography
In Geography pupils investigate a variety of people, places and environments in the United Kingdom and the World. They find out how people affect the environment and how they are affected by it. They carry out geographical studies by asking questions, and by using related skills and resources such as maps, atlases, aerial photographs and ICT. In Year 3 the emphasis is on the local area. In Year 4 the emphasis is on reinforcing the skills learnt in Year 3 and beginning to look at Bedford in relation to the world. In Year 5 girls begin to look at the physical features in the United Kingdom and the World and in Year 6 girls investigate the ways humans affect environments.
