Year 6 Adventure Holiday to La Rive in France
40 girls and accompanying staff spent nine very wet but exhilarating days at this lakeside resort. The weather did not dampen spirits and the activities went ahead regardless. Dart and Pico sailing were two of the most favourite sessions. Windsurfing, sit on top canoeing and mountain biking were also on offer.
Shopping at Arcechon and the visit to Aqualand proved very popular, as did running down the largest sand dune in Europe (Dune de Pyla). The seventeen-hour coach journey did not put off staff and we look forward to repeating the experience again next year.
