Year 11 Work Experience 2008

All Year 11 students will be gaining valuable work experience in placements of their choice, during the week beginning Monday 23rd June 2008. Each girl will take responsibility for finding the initial contact and for arranging her placement.  To see what our girls got up to during Work Experience Week 2007 - Click Here

We use the services of the Bedfordshire and Luton Education and Business Partnership (BLEBP) http://www.blebp.co.uk/ to carry out all the necessary pre-placement checks. They will contact the employer so that a placement is appropriate, and that everything possible, within reason, can be done to protect the health, welfare and safety of our students.  BLEBP also provides a Parents' Guide to work experience which can be accessed by clicking here.

The Student Initiated Work Related Learning form needs to be completed, where indicated, by the employer and signed on the reverse.  For Form - Click Here

AND

The first page of the Year 10/11 Student Placement Profile - Red Session form needs to be completed by both yourself and your daughter.  For Red Profile Form - Click Here

Both these forms need to be completed fully and returned to Mrs Angie Grafton, Educational Visits Co-ordinator, before the end of the Autumn Term.

For further help in finding a suitable placement, we have a list of contacts and companies who have very kindly offered placements to our girls in the past. For list of previous placements - Click Here

No Direct Approach

There are a number of companies who have requested that students do not contact them directly. All contact should be made via BLEBP and we will pass on your request. Please check the No Direct Approach list on
